Raw aluminum, also called cast aluminum, casting aluminum, and foundry aluminum, is an impure aluminum with a metallic aluminum content of less than 98%. Raw aluminum is extracted from the naturally refined chemical component alumina.
In the past, aluminum was formed by using aluminum silicon as the main raw material, or adding some other alloying elements.
1. Composition of raw aluminum
“Raw aluminum” refers to the “cast aluminum alloy” in the aluminum industry. It is mainly aluminum-silicon, or some alloying elements are added, and is used for casting, that is, the product is a casting. Aluminum products with rough surfaces are mostly raw aluminum. “Raw aluminum” contains more impurities such as iron, silicon, and copper. It is hard in texture and is not easily worn. Like pig iron, it breaks into pieces when knocked hard. The “cast aluminum alloy” in the aluminum industry is this kind of aluminum. Its composition is impure. The formed aluminum parts are called castings. The surface is rough, brittle and fragile.
2. The uses of raw aluminum and the sources of waste raw aluminum
1. Various automobile wheels, automobile aluminum engines, automobile brake pads and other accessories
2. Some household appliances, such as aluminum pots, etc.
3. Various raw aluminum molds.
3. Recycling process of raw aluminum
a. Use a metal shredder to shred cooked aluminum, profiles, and broken bridge aluminum.
b. Use direct crushing of aluminum profiles
The equipment of the raw aluminum crusher production line includes: scrap aluminum crusher, feeder, conveyor belt, magnetic separator, vibrating screen, eddy current separator, etc. Through the metal crusher, raw aluminum can be broken into raw materials in batches. Aluminum blocks, raw aluminum blocks are collected and passed through a series of sorting equipment such as eddy current sorters to improve the final purity of raw aluminum, ensure the efficiency of secondary utilization of materials, and increase sales profits.
